HOW THOSE PROSTITUTES TAUGHT ME A LESSON

.

She gave me a call a few days after her 32nd birthday. I could tell from her voice that something was wrong, so I hurriedly made my way to her apartment.

She was looking tired and depressed. I held her close and gave her a warm hug but that seems to trigger more tears from her eyes and she sobs profusely. I was confused and afraid that something terrible might have happened that all I could do was pat her back till she was finally calm.

I waited patiently for the news and then she began to talk to me about her frustrations.

I am 32yrs and without a man trying to get my attention, talkless of asking me out. Why am I so unlucky? am I going to die single? why is God so unfair to me? Ooo I am tired, am tired and she began to cry again, this time, it was very loud that I became worried it might draw her neighbour's attention to us.

I held her close again and said, God is not unjust and trust me this is only a phase but how you handle it will determine many things about your future.

I wanted to pray with her as usual because it looked like a spiritual problem to her and I was beginning to agree. Then a little voice from within told me it was a wisdom problem and then asked me this question.

If you are a man ready to pick a wife, would you marry her?

I paused and looked this lady closely. Well, with the way every other lady have worked on themselves,  NO! there is no way I could settle for her.

I starred at her unkempt natural hair(mind you it wasn't trendy at the time) and the oily pores on her face(egusi) her skin was so rough and the black skirt she wore was oversized and dirty while the white shirt had a brown patch in the armpit. I also seem to have gotten used to her body odour but my close assessment of her brought it again to my notice.

This is how she showed up at every important meeting both at church or work. It was obvious she has issues wearing a cloth that fits her stature.

Mmhmm, before we pray sister Ranti can we talk about critical things, she was positive so I gave her an invite to my wardrobe. I practically gave her a total makeover, starting with having her face scrubbed and well exfoliated.

It didn't take long before people noticed the transformation and guess what? her life wasn't lonely anymore....she made new friends wink***

Many business owners out there are just like sis Ranti,  Although they have a fantastic product yet they don't make sales.

It is really frustrating when you seem to have what people should want and yet you are broke.

Did I mention that sis Ranti was a well behaved and godly lady that would make a good wife but her problem was knowing what her prospective suitors want and presenting herself in that manner.

Well, one of my mentors told me, that writing a good book is key but he has never seen the "best book" award but rather it's usually the "best seller". Meaning not all good books made the best-seller status and not all best sellers are good books!

Your skill is not enough, you must sell yourself (product).

I started studying the prostitutes on the street closely because I realised they troop out in their hundreds every night and get picked up either at the actual price or promo price..... lol.

Here are a few things I found out.

🔴 Gone are the days when prostitutes look dirty, now, they are the body talk gurus, they have the best of completion with original nails, lashes and hair.
Reason: You will be priced according to your packaging, look expensive and you will be well paid!

🔴 They wear exposing outfits
Reason: Men are attracted by what they see, so they show them what they want. They know their selling points and they expose them to buyers

🔴They put themselves out on the street.
Reason: Customers are lazy to follow through a long purchasing process, so you must give them easy access to the goods.Visibility  boosts your client's decision power to buy.

🔴They have a friendly appearance
Reason: customer service, "treat the men nicely and they will be back," they say.

🔴Once it's few minutes into midnight, they will reduce their price to get picked up fast rather than not making money at all ( Promo price😁)

Let me stop here lest you suspect me 😁, I just did my research well.

Before you complain about what is not working In your life, here are great questions for you.

🔴Ma... how well do you know your customers? Where are they and what do they want?.

🔴 Are your goods on the street and naked( advertisement) how well are you projecting your goods to your prospective customers.

🔴How friendly are your prices(promo)
🔴How nice do you treat those who bought from you.

🔴Aunty... With your current flaws would you marry yourself if you are meant to pick one person to live with for the rest of your life in this whole wide world?

🔴To attract people into your life or business, you must step into their shoes, understand their needs(problems) and project yourself as a solution to those problems, that is how to be relevant and needed.

You see prostitution is bad and should be eradicated at all cost but just before you hammer on the havok they have caused homes and society, I want you to learn some of their selling principles that made them irresistible and then put that in that legit business of yours.

Life answers to principles!

The power of association.

Many times I wonder what life will be like if to say na only me(in 2face voice)....hunnn it will be a nightmare am sure. I also wonder why the human was made a social being, having to relate, interact and depend on other people in certain areas to be accomplished like we depend on tailors to make our clothes and "NEPA to bring light"

This tells us no man is made to be an island. You can't survive in a lonely world. Let us take this further from mere interaction with people to the power of associating with people.
The story that stirs me up the most is that of Abraham and Lot. The Bible tells us that God blessed Abraham and Lot who was with him also, it dawned on me that it is very possible to acquire wealth by association. As a matter of fact, it may never be in the plan that he would end up wealthy but guess what? That is what wealth by association is.

Who are you associating with?

The bible says those who walk with the wise shall be wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed.

You don't get to choose so many things in life, like your nationality or even the family you were born. God didn't leave those choices to us. But he made us a choice being and knowing that relationship is one of the most important things to our destiny, he gave you the chance to choose who we associate with.

The story of Joseph made me understand association at a different level. The bible says God blessed the house of his master because of Him. So you can bring in a housemaid or an employee who would bring chaos into that home or business and vice versa...

The power of association is very strong and you can look into your life and trace it events to one connection or the other that you have made with people in the time past.

Knowledge is useless if our consciousness of it doesn't change, that means you can understand this concept of the power of associating with the right people, but if you don't consciously apply it, then it can't bless you.

* Do you like your life at the moment? Take an Audit
* What is it that you lack?
Find someone who has it and connects.

We often allow ourselves to be intimidated by the people who have what we lack.No don't be intimidated all you need is to learn how to associate and connect at different levels with them.

* For those who are truly beyond your reach at the moment, connect with their social media profile, connect with their books, connect with their product and follow instructions.

* For those within reach, the bible says a man's gift makes room for him. You must learn to give before you receive. Register your presence in their lives and connect. Make your name unforgettable. Be useful to them, serve them if need be just to remain within their network. Learn and grow as you watch them.

* This is very technical but sometimes these people you need are people who may be far younger than you. You must learn and understand that knowledge and wisdom shall be the stability of our times. If you don't have it, come down from your high horse and learn.

You have to come out of your comfort zone, get over yourself and reach for new opportunities that lie in Association. Your head is good I know but how about two good heads like yours?

In parenting I have had to make friends with mothers who are doing exceptionally well with their kids just to learn new lunch recipes for my kids, I have had to make friends with married couples who seem to be nailing it, I have had to reach out to business coaches to help me bridge the gap in my business, I have had to make friends with people who are more spiritually inclined just to grow my spiritual life. All these associations made my life a lot easier. It's amazing how no one knows it all.

Choose your association deliberately and watch your life skyrocket!

Then I got to the point in my life when I began to listen to myself, I took myself on a self-discovery journey because I wanted the misery to end.I was out of job at some point and after numerous application, nothing was forthcoming. Then somehow God told me it was already in me!

The boiled yam with palm oil that changed my life

A few days ago, I wanted to make myself a breakfast so I turned on the gas and placed some pot of water on it. I was yet to decide what I wanted to cook and so for some minute I was busy romancing my appetite to know what I wanted for breakfast....great! Boiled yam and a fried egg will do just fine, I said. By now the water was busy boiling and i just kinda ignore the fact that I was wasting some resources.I  wanted to turn it off while I peel the yam to save some gas from wasting as the usual me would have done but I just kinda ignore the urge for no reason. So I took my time to peel the yam and then placed them gently in the boiling water, while I  headed for the refrigerator to get some egg which I seasoned and whisked. Some few minutes later my phone rang and I went to attend to the call.
I got into the kitchen some few minutes later to find out the fire was off...Wait, what happened? I turned the burner on and discovered the gas had finished. Oh my God! I exclaimed, not now, I said because I was really hungry and getting a gas refill was not always fast. I was very disappointed and the saving grace was that the yam managed to boil and was softened a little.So I served some boiled yam and added some palm oil just to satisfy my rumbling stomach.

While I was eating my meal with loads of dissatisfaction, I didn't like nor do I imagined eating boiled yam and palm oil, I wanted fried egg at least.

The spirit of Counsel began to teach me the lessons of life.He reminded me of the opportunities I had to get what I wanted but I blew it believing there was plenty of gas, He reminded me of how I got the nudge to save the gas but I ignored, it dawned on me that the gas spent almost an hour burning with no purpose whereas it would have taken only 20 minutes to prepare what I really wanted.

Our lives is like the burning gas, we let it run purposeless because we somehow just have the feeling that we have plenty of time.You don't! It's unfortunate that so many people are caught unawares like I was because they thought their lives would never end and suddenly got sucked out. Many people are yet to give their lives a direction, yet to get the purpose, they allow their lives to run aimlessly thinking they would do that in the future. How much time do you have?
Some have been on the journey to find purpose and still do not have a clue, why not ask God. Live your life knowing that one day you will be audited, you will give an account of all the idle time.You are meant to execute and fulfil a mandate with your life but are you really living up to that expectation?

I just want you to think again and align with the mind of God for you. Don't waste your life doing the wrong things.Don't get caught up in doing so many things, just do the needful. Don't waste your time, you will never get a refill. Don't procrastinate because tomorrow is not promised.

Help the needy if you must, write that song, write that book, tell someone about Jesus today, propose to that lady if the time is right, honour your parents today, submit that proposal, send the apology text and live your every day as if you have no control over when it ends because you really don't.
