The power of association.

Many times I wonder what life will be like if to say na only me(in 2face voice)....hunnn it will be a nightmare am sure. I also wonder why the human was made a social being, having to relate, interact and depend on other people in certain areas to be accomplished like we depend on tailors to make our clothes and "NEPA to bring light"

This tells us no man is made to be an island. You can't survive in a lonely world. Let us take this further from mere interaction with people to the power of associating with people.
The story that stirs me up the most is that of Abraham and Lot. The Bible tells us that God blessed Abraham and Lot who was with him also, it dawned on me that it is very possible to acquire wealth by association. As a matter of fact, it may never be in the plan that he would end up wealthy but guess what? That is what wealth by association is.

Who are you associating with?

The bible says those who walk with the wise shall be wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed.

You don't get to choose so many things in life, like your nationality or even the family you were born. God didn't leave those choices to us. But he made us a choice being and knowing that relationship is one of the most important things to our destiny, he gave you the chance to choose who we associate with.

The story of Joseph made me understand association at a different level. The bible says God blessed the house of his master because of Him. So you can bring in a housemaid or an employee who would bring chaos into that home or business and vice versa...

The power of association is very strong and you can look into your life and trace it events to one connection or the other that you have made with people in the time past.

Knowledge is useless if our consciousness of it doesn't change, that means you can understand this concept of the power of associating with the right people, but if you don't consciously apply it, then it can't bless you.

Find someone who has it and connects.

We often allow ourselves to be intimidated by the people who have what we lack.No don't be intimidated all you need is to learn how to associate and connect at different levels with them.

* For those who are truly beyond your reach at the moment, connect with their social media profile, connect with their books, connect with their product and follow instructions.

* For those within reach, the bible says a man's gift makes room for him. You must learn to give before you receive. Register your presence in their lives and connect. Make your name unforgettable. Be useful to them, serve them if need be just to remain within their network. Learn and grow as you watch them.

* This is very technical but sometimes these people you need are people who may be far younger than you. You must learn and understand that knowledge and wisdom shall be the stability of our times. If you don't have it, come down from your high horse and learn.

You have to come out of your comfort zone, get over yourself and reach for new opportunities that lie in Association. Your head is good I know but how about two good heads like yours?

In parenting I have had to make friends with mothers who are doing exceptionally well with their kids just to learn new lunch recipes for my kids, I have had to make friends with married couples who seem to be nailing it, I have had to reach out to business coaches to help me bridge the gap in my business, I have had to make friends with people who are more spiritually inclined just to grow my spiritual life. All these associations made my life a lot easier. It's amazing how no one knows it all.
